Keynote Speaker: Mr. Bill Patrie, Executive Director
Common Enterprise Development Corporation

Bill Patrie Bill Patrie holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and a BA in Political Science with a minor in Religion from Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana. He has served as the director of a regional planning council, the North Dakota Economic Development Commission, and rural development for the North Dakota Association of Rural Electrics. He has also served as interim executive director for Northcountry Cooperative Development Fund in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Patrie is currently the Executive Director of Common Enterprise Development Corporation located in Mandan, North Dakota. Patrie is the author of Creating Co-op Fever published in 1998 by USDA as a service bulletin, and 100 Stories of Hope, a report of his interviews of 100 people in poverty. Patrie co-chaired, with Ed Hall, the Wilson Health Planning Collaborative which incorporated in 2009 as a cooperative and published "The Wilson Report" which includes the findings of the Collaborative on the type of healthcare system residents of an eleven county area in Northwest North Dakota.
